Today I was on the B3 going to KP(Kings Plaza) and the B/O was flying. The operator blew through yellows. I think the operator was late, but if your late stay late. I never complain but the way the operator was braking was horrible. I felt like it was a Nascar race lol...... I wonder how that operator made it qualifying during the training.

Got it. The guy at the front told me it's like a book they borrow from the library once they finished they give it back. Im wondering if I will be included with the next batch of candidates since they past my list number. Does anybody know exactly how that works exactly?

They are hiring off 4600 again? I thought they sent the list back to DCAS? I had to restore myself to list because my medical condition took more then 3 months to do everything I needed to do. I was told I will need to do the pre employment packet again and drug test as well as medical which is fine. Hopefully I get that letter sooner then later. My list # is 31*5

It means I did 30 days on the machine which is what they want

I went to DCAS yesterday and got my named restored. The gertlemen at that assisted me said I was "removed" because I missed the training courses because of medical hold. But he also said it shows that im in the process so when I go to MTA to Mac and give my paperwork in Monday(I see my Pcp on Saturday) tonight made night number 30 on the cpap. Good luck to all. I called DCAS to check my status I'm on the list I'm not on an outstanding certification and I have been removed from the list(Ive been on medical hold for more then 3 months for sleep apnea) I'm 2 days away from completing my 30 days of therapy successfully. My thing is how do I reinstate my name if I don't want to write a letter I remember seeing something along the lines that I could I email them? If so that would be great. I was planning on going Monday to MTA to Mac to give my medical paperwork but I also want to get reinstated because I so ready to get in and start my career.. Thanks for the help

I've been on medical hold since the beginning of June. I have sleep apnea my ahi was 17.5. Unfortunately I wasn't covered with insurance in June and when I renewed I June it was past the renewal for July. I finally got coverage in August went to the sleep specialist and last Saturday(8/19) I got my cpap machine. I've been on it 6 days night number 7 tonight only 23 more days to use it. My Ahi is now between 2.0 and 4.0......everything happens for a reason. I know I'm going to Have to redo drug test and medical since it will over 3 months. But at least I know I will be clear with everything. I will be going back Monday Sept 25th because my appointment to see my Sleep Specialist is Sept 23rd.

I figured it was a mistake, but it was funny seeing that lol. I pay more attention to B/O now that I know what's expected for us to do.

Here's something I seen today. I was on kings highway and Utica Ave and I seem an artic SBS and the destination sign said Training Bus. There was only one Bus Operator which was driving with one hand on the wheel. There where no trainees on that bus but one hand and it was a training bus lol

You have to remember that people will move, they might not be ready to come on board so the will remove themself, may fail the drug test, may be placed on medical hold(especially with this sleep apnea test for pre employment). There's many things so in the high 80s low 80s or even just passing I'm sure you will get a letter to attend pre employment. So people may down the job down for whatever reason. MTA won't wait for you to decide OK nows the right time they move along down the list. Now if person with a list number 50 decides OK now is the my time to go forth with the hiring process and the MTA is up list under 400 then since he is number 50 he will be the next class first because is list number.

I got 4 wrong not bad about a 94 congrats to all who passed. Maybe when people protest, some answers will change to more then one answer being correct for ex. Question 2. A or B will be the correct answer instead of just A.

Congrats! Well deserved no obstacles can stop you when you really want something. I'm going back with my results in September I'm not letting nothing hold me back from something I really really want.

That's sucks but I know the feeling I'm still on medical hold myself. Unfortunately I won't have insurance until August 1st to so I can't see a specialist until then. So I can't go back until I use the cpap machine for 30 days(which will be September).

Saw an express training bus this afternoon around 3ish on the SI Expressway heading towards the city.

They tell you 3 to 90 days. Because they can get back to you within a week or 2 weeks. For me it took 2 plus months to get called back from a second drug test then after that they Called me in for medical the very next week

Saw a training bus going up 125th street in Harlem I was going down towards 2nd Ave it was coming up towards 5th I seen it on park Ave.

Only reason I asked is because the security company I worked for had the contact for security. I use to visit the depots that where MTA Bus Company(JFK, LaGuardia, College Point, Far Rockaway, Biasley Park). Although I don't think it matters what depot you do the 7/10 training out of. As long you as you get into a TA depot. One supervisor I spoke to said to be careful sometimes they offer you a Bus Company depot and then you don't get the TA rate. I don't know if it's true or may have changed. I just sharing my story of what he told me this was last year.

Isn't JFK a Bus Company depot and not TA depot?

A3 and K are OK as well as B(for corrective lenses).

I already took 2 drug test. It's going to be at least September until I can clear my medical hold due to insurance reasons. So I'm in the same boat as young sort of. Once I clear my medical hold it will 3 drug test for me as well as they as they same 3rd time is the charm lol. Good luck to all that are in 7/10 class and food luck to all that are going in for pre employment. Keep in mind they always call in more then they actually need tomhiee for pre employment. So even though you go in for pre employment now they may make you come back again. My case I went in on March 27th and for another Pre employment letter to report in may 30th then from.there got called for medical in june.

So many different obstacles, but well well worth it.

Unfortunately you may have to take general knowledge all over again and all the endorsements again. You should've changed your license to a CDL class C that meant I didn't have to take the General knowledge again when I was ready to get my permit/license.

Thanks young I figured they would because I knew it expired in 2020, I'm sure they say that to cover there behind. I'm so ready for this. I ready to transport the public from point A to point B safely.
