    That's because the MTA is paying you and they need them to go back to work lol. MTA employees don't mind waiting especially bus operators because that blows trips and less time in they seat lol.

    Yes they are super strict with that. Now we can wear summer uniforms shorts and no tie with a shirt sleeve shirt

    OH maybe he/she meant the medical is good for 90 days. I work for transit so I know I had a drug test done and a month went by and I didnt get an email so I had to redo drug test again. Because my Drug test expired.

    To be blunt about it.... When they get to you they get to you. I'm not holding my breath my list number is 82* I sure I will be going to another pre employment before getting hired. Transit always calls in more people to hire them they actually need because of failed drug test, medical holds, candidates aren't ready for that specific class and the list goes on so it could move fast it all depends.... They said they don't hold a spot for anyone.

    Drug test are only good for 30 days, so ex. may 22nd to June 22nd. But now transit wants you for July 2nd(as an example not realistically speaking) the drug won't be good any longer. The medicals are good for 90 days. So that's probably why. You have to redo the packet I know from experience

    I was there I was out by 945am. Helps to go straight upstairs without having to sign in. Now I'm going to nap since I have yet to sleep.

    Nice! Im low 800's as well between 820-830.

    Im in the low 800's and haven't gotten anything for Pre Employment yet. So I don't believe they are in the 1300's yet. Probably for C/R they are 1300 from what im reading on that form.

    Congrats to all that passed i got between 820-830 lost number with a score of 93 which I am. Shocked because i got a 93 also on the C/R exam and im in the 6000 range with that. Any woo I much rather be a T/O that's my dream job. Right bow im a B/O im proud to wear the MTA Uniform.

    It depends on their needs, they called me back within 3 days(A Friday) to come in for medical on a Monday.

    I got invited for pre employment list number 6$$$, I didn't take no OPA either.

    It'll come sooner then you know it I'm 3 months in. Right after Christmas is when I complete probation.

    I don't know everything, however at union day at 195 Montague Street there where 6 from my class that were MTA Bus and they had them sit separately from us. I'm currently in an OA depot,but I'm TA.

    Mta Bus isn't local 100 TA and OA depots except Staten Island are Local 100. Mta Bus and Staten Island depots are ATU unions. Patience is key when they get to hiring then they will get to you. Patience is key with this job. Im currently 3 month's in. I know they will be hiring about 100 per class because the L train shuttle.
