  1. Relax dear you already pretty much got the job in the bag...from PE to now you will be just fine.
  2. I guess they have to keep busy too MTA (180). 😂 All the PE appointments is fine with me because hey we can all play...I see it as another discouragement tactic as well. Many will give up and most will push forward ..it’s a mess and again they are the Employment Center ugh. I figure it like this if you know your list number is way off and they call you for PE already know you will return to do the same process again and maybe again but it’s okay if you want the job.
  3. This is true but if they get wind they can always reinstate to the list...patiently waiting and yes I will go as many times as they call for me 😂
  4. Where did you hear this that MTA has called up to list 2900? I know everyone don’t post in the forum but last we heard in here was 2600s.
  5. They had a test for SA for June but it was postponed again 🤔 I guess by now some of us know MTA loves to run you back and forth for PE and drug testing blah blah blah. So if they done mailed letters out up to 2900 hahaha get ready for the run around ugh 😑 especially if they only appointed up to 516. If that many ppl are getting letters I can only imagine how many ppl moved and didn’t update their info.
  6. Hmm well we’ll well I was told you had to pay for health insurance by an TA employee... they pretty much told me nothing was free 😂 So let me make sure I’m understanding correctly...union dues Pay for vision and dental and transit provides medical coverage at no particular cost expect 2% contribution. So we help pay for those who retire and we get it for free. Correct me if I’m not getting it.
  7. Again thanks for being so informative and that’s not bad I suppose 😂
  8. Wow okay you break it down...good info and are union dues expensive?
  9. 👍🏾 Sounds even better now😂. At least they try and keep you in your geographical area. So here I go as far as pay...do you work 35 hrs per week or 40? Biweekly pay or semi monthly (15th & 30th) ? Oh and is it paid training? Lol I’m assuming training is paid but hmm u never know...thanks
  10. Sorry but a little confusing...another words your saying Manhattan is divided between Zone 1 and Zone 2...so your saying if you live in the Bronx/Manhattan and from let’s say Van Cortlandt (bx) and all the way down to 50th street would be considered Zone 1. Just making sure I’m understanding you here...Good info to know in advance!!
  11. Just be honest when filling out the paperwork..Congrats when do you go and what’s your list number if you don’t mind
  12. Bring everything that is asked...when do you go for preemployment and what’s your list number?
  13. Nice!! This is great information...MTA seems as if they are trying to exhaust this list quickly.. I guess we will see...keep your head up...☺️
  14. I totally agree but I just felt the need to say what I said. We all join these forums for information but not to hear negativity. Some people may not know how MTA operates but many do. #ijs CAN’T WE ALL JUST GET ALONG!!! 😂
  15. Some people already know how MTA hiring process goes and it’s not about my business or yours it’s a forum. It helps people get an idea of what’s going on. This is not my not their first rodeo so again thanks for your negativity...say what ever you want it doesn’t matter but I see you didn’t share your permanent invite so foh
  16. What does that mean off the street? And do you work in the MTA Employment Center...this comment is wild. Such a downer ugh....ijs those comments could of been kept to yourself because everybody is processed differently and you don’t know how many S/A they need. Ugh ppl...your provisional I believe with double digits and they have not called you for a permanent spot yet so....take it for what it’s worth ✌🏾These are reasons ppl don’t like to share in these forums cause of ppl like you 👎🏾
  17. Congrats when do you go in for preemployment and late 1700s or low 1700s.
