    I doubt it will take that long. I think they will always just say that. But usually hiring process starts like 2 months after spa according to others from 8606 n 7609. They got back to us pretty quick after exam so I think process would be quick. List could be established right after everyone takes spa.

    And they didn’t tell you any about how will you be contacted back considering you moved on right ?

    My best bet you’ll still get in , don’t let that spa get to you to much. You probably did better than you think you did. Thanks for sharing and everybody else. I make sure I look over ladder safety @MaxFever

    How are your co-workers , the maintainers u have to work with I guess. There aren’t like any a**holes or people you hate to work with. Is it a cool environment ?

    According to previous threads of electrical helpers after the SAP is the pre-employment processing ( drug , medical test, background check and what not ) then after they realize u are clear is final employement processing and you get sworn in , get a start date , etc. I think we will honestly get in by ending of December/beginning of jan the LATEST. But with the way they contacted us back fast for SPA. I’m sure everything will go fast n we could possibly be in December.

    There are E&E helpers. One of my boys is one. Also they have E&E listed as a division we can be placed in on the exam form so I don’t think there is no reason why they wouldn’t place one of us or whoever as a helper in that division.

    I’m pretty sure that deals more so when they do the background check which is after the spa.

    Yea I think there are a lot of vacancies because previously they never got back this fast. Better for us.

    Oh yea those with that receive selective certification n can get picked early maybe. That could be why I didn’t get letter yet cause I have regular DL. Unless they also have regular DL too.

    Damn u got a letter already , that’s wassup. Hopefully I can get mine soon. What did u score on the exam ? U can look at the other electrical helper exam threads from 8606 and 7609 I think it is to know what the spa is about.

    You would just have to wait till that next civil service exam comes out again if you failed

    So wouldn’t that make it a longer process to get in for people who took the test since they been calling people in for temporary positions ? What will happend to those temporary hires when list is established and they start bringing people from list in ?
