The funds for the MTA Bus order were secured years ago through MTA Bus's capital plan.

I don't know whether or not it is updated or not.

Apparently, the decided to cancel the 155 CNG order for New York City Transit. As for Bus, the 228 CNG order has been reduced to 110. The reason for this is because they wanted to fund the Bus XD40s and LFSes.

It is very disappointing to hear because they are confident in buying more electrics then to add one last CNG order into their fleet. Originally they were to get 383 CNGs. 155 for NYCT, and 228 for Bus Co. Now this is not the case, as Bus Co. will only have 110 CNGs to replace most C40LFs. Spring Creek will get the bulk of that order, while College Point will get some. If the gets awarded with more electrics, then College Point will get the bulk of it to replace their remaining C40LFs.

The upcoming battery electric order for the will go to New Flyer. The base order calls for 187 XE40s and 18 XE60s. The first option order would include 193 XE40s and 72 XE60s. The second option order would add up to 950 more buses. This brings up to 1,420 buses.

The pilot for the base order will be delivered in January 2025. The XE40 order will start in September of that year, and be completed by July 2027. The XE60 order will be delivered from September to October 2025.

508 buses are to replace the blue and white XD60s and LFSAs. The rest can be used for expansion. This is because of the upcoming Queens and Brooklyn Bus Redesign.

Based on this, the 691 XD60s would be assigned to the following:

For fleet replacement:
Gun Hill, Tuskegee Airmen, Kingsbridge, West Farms, Ulmer Park, Grand Avenue, and Casey Stengel.

For additional artics:
Flatbush. I'm not sure what are the others for as of now.
