Whether or not the is going to extend the routes free by 6 more months, there are plans from NYS lawmakers to have 10 more bus routes free, and to increase frequencies.

they leased a plot of land for 15 years, with no plans whatsoever to build anywhere on the island in the meantime, and no contingency plan(s) going forward. so what exactly was the point of having a Meredith "Depot" in the first place? is it a case of they just don't need a 4th depot or annex on staten island anymore or was this another case of wasted time/money with the "powers that be" sitting around circle-jerking with their thumbs up their collective asses? I'm seriously asking... no sarcasm.
If it were up to me, the should at least purchase the plot of land, or at least build another depot in Staten Island. Yukon, Charleston, and Castleton may get overloaded with buses and routes from Meredith. With the , they don't care about what is happening when it comes to depots.

Meredith is going to shut down after the end of the 2024 Summer Pick. This is due to the fact that they have a 15-year lease since 2009, and that the did not want to renew the lease.

4154, 4202 (ex. NYCT and past BP): JFK unit retired from service with payment options removed (options will be moved to the new LFS that'll be delivered to JFK).
4202 is not retired as it was on the Q7. 4154 is also not retired as it is still at the depot.

So, this isn't completely official yet, as it's pending FTA approval, but Green Mountain Transit up in Vermont is planning to transfer 7 2013 MCI D4500CTs over to NYCT. These buses have not been used in service for some time. I can definitely see Castleton getting all 7 of these.
There is a pretty good chance that these will also be in the new scheme, just completely wrapped. Whether or not the signs or the alcoas will remain will be up for debate(they'll likely get swapped out).-edit-
lol to whomever that reported this on Discord. They look beautiful with Alcoas and TwinVision amber signs. However, something tells me that Charleston might get them. If these buses get approved and delivered, then Charleston could send 7 Prevosts to Castleton to retire the remaining 2008 CTs, and have a slight expansion. However, this is just speculation.

I think LaGuardia might get them because they are getting 43 units.
