REQUIREMENTS AS PER THE NOTICE OF EXAMINATION 1) A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent before July 21, 2015, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization; and 2) Eighteen months of full-time satisfactory experience before July 21, 2015, of which at least twelve months must have been continuous (with one employer) performing customer service that includes at least one of the duties below as a primary job function (the majority of the essential duties): A. Providing comprehensive customer service entailing the dispensing of information and listening to and resolving customers’ concerns, problems and complaints in person; B. Giving travel information in a transportation environment, such as bus, rail or marine station, terminal or port; C. Providing trouble-shooting (help-desk) services or resolving problems regarding a company’s products or services; either at a walk-in site or over the telephone. **Experience which involves only incidental or occasional customer service, such as sales associate, taxi drivers, security guards, and cashier is not acceptable unless one of these three duties is your primary job function.

I know what you stated in your comment, but people have an option to be where they are, I personally will work at a company if I feel unhappy, or don’t feel rewarded at a company I work for, I can always leave if I feel I am not being treated right.

What’s the final processing? What do you do there?

I’m very happy fir you and all the candidates that took this exam in that cold Sunday morning , did the long lines to wait and be let in and take the exam, I wish everyone all the best, on the next phase of this process, keep us posted how it goes, I received my letter in December and my number is high like 3###. Maybe I get called this current year.

What makes you think I’m not provisional? But there is no need to be angry and live life angry about a civil service job , the. bu·reauc·ra·cy behind all these jobs makes some people lose their mental.

I do, especially after receiving their letter in December, truthfully I thought that list expired like all the other city exams I have taken and never been called to.

So they are rushing through the list , or people are not getting the letters because they have moved and have not updated the new address change.?

MTA has called up to list 2900. MTA has hired 516 im confused what happened to the people they have called up to number 2900 as of today?

I will tell you why, they are responsible for the safety of the station they are assigned to, while 5he supervisors take over, being fire, theft, security, everything that happens in that station.
