Man keep trying! Even write them a letter with signature confirmation and put all the the information in it. Test number, list number, your phone number your email… Everything!

So TA has the NYCER pension program. It’s a pension program that most NYC workers have. So you have the option to go to a different city job and keep your pension if you go to TA. You won't lose time in service. OA has a different pension program that’s not part of NYCER. So if you are OA and you go to a different city job you have to start from the beginning.

Still in the process. Took both tests. TA called first. From what I understand it's the same exact benifts. Just the depots might be different. BTW 🇹🇹

Does anyone know what list number they are up to? I got called for TA but really wanted Mabstoa because I don't want to end up in Brooklyn or Queens. I live in the Bronx.

Hey April they only call a few hundred at a time process everybody and then call the next batch of people. Since you’re in the 800s they’ll probably call you in 2–3 weeks. From what I understand 2–300 people start the training every couple of weeks.

Hey Tony, I noticed the same exact discrepancy! So I'm assuming that the wording on the application is outdated and the information in the email is the most up-to-date/current. I'm thinking they did want you to email them in the past but they found it a pain to go through 500+ emails containing application every few weeks. So they are just asking to fill out, print and bring with you so when you are they in person they can go over the application with you in front of them at their leisure. (This is just an educated guess though so take that with a grain of salt.)

Go on the DMV website and download your abstract it's $7 dollars. See if the points are still on there

What is your list number? They said they are going to START calling from this list at the end of February...But they also said the same thing in November.

I'm list #17xx and no call or anything yet besides the initial canvas letter back in August

That sounds crazy. How did they get your social mixed up with another person’s name and address?

Everything is identical...that's why I don't understand why people say TA is better.

I wonder why I'm list number 17** and they are calling in the 4 THOUSANDS? 🤣 makes no sense. How many people took this test?

Can they legally tell another human what to put in our body for a job? What if someone wants to wait to see the real side effects that takes years.

yes, they go by the list numbers not the licenses. It would make sense for them to put in licensed drivers first but unfortunately thats not how they do it.
