that depends how long the trip is. if it's just 4 days ( and especially if it's on your weekend) it should be ok, they let you go but you'll have to make it up at the end of school car. If it's longer than that might be tough. I don't think you'll be able to do it in schoolcar.
yeah I agree. That's why I just went for XL without worrying about the days off. Having set days off help me set time for a mini vacation too by taking a couple of AVA around my weekend.
True i noticed that too. I thinks its because a lot of new XX people don't wanna bother with it. Maybe they got what they wanted on the preference sheet and they are hoping the crew office will keep them on these tours and RDOs. Other people don't see XL as any better than XX so they don't bother. Then some people bid but they only bid on super senior jobs that they have no chance of getting.
oh wow! They are really making you redo the whole schoolcar although you just graduated a few months ago?? Maybe they just make you take a refresher course?
I would think so. There were a few people in my induction that were reinstated after they postponed taking the job, and after they were reinstated they were put in the next class.
Since I've been out I've spent a lot of money on Uber...I could drive but they never send me to the yards and they give me a lot of jobs with deadhead, finishing at a different location. So my car and parking permit have been useless to me so far 🤣
Whenever that person comes back or if they don't come back until the end of the pick. Then I go back to XX. They told me there is another bid sheet coming out this pick. I don't when that is.
It's temp. It's south so it's the D, N, Q, B I think. It's pms. You should bid too I'm sure you could get something since I did. There should be another bids sheet coming out soon. Just keep checking on mtatoday under the subway/service delivery page.
Pitkin, Concourse, and Coney Island allow you with just the pass. Jamaica used to but I heard you need a permit now.
edit: sorry I just realized you are A division
