Congratulations. That's awesome. When do you have to report for medical? Do they give you at least a few days or is it immediate?

What's the most recent list number that called for medical?

Is anyone here in the October class? If so what is the class list numbers consist of?

I had to show up on for a drug test on Tuesday,  they never asked for the Covid questionnaire but they do check your temperature when walking in. I did fill out the questionnaire online the day prior before the appointment as instructed on the email. I would just show up and as long as your temperature is normal,  I don't think they will be any issues. I have heard people just showing up and revolving their issues as long as the list number was reached or skipped.

The drug screening was on Tuesday,  they said 3-90 days till they contact. Is it possible that I can make the class in October?

I feel like once the list hit 300s it started to fly by. I was surprised to be called this month,  I was anticipating around November-December based on how the list started to move. Just stay ready and check all email inboxes daily. There were a few guys who found out they had an appointment literally that morning.

If you get called in for medical,  and your not currently vaccinated. What is the procedure? Can you get vaccinated that day or will it hold you up? Also, if a booster shot is needed,  can you proceed to employment or do you need both shots prior? 

I would contact, majority of people today were in the 700s.

I'll be going in tomorrow for a drug test and was wondering if I'm offered employment,  is it OK to have out of state ID? I have family I can stay with until I can move my family back to NY but I currently have an out of state ID and was wondering if I had to change it to a NY state ID for employment.

If you are going in for the drug test they will have you come back around 2 weeks for the medical and final processing on your medical date you will get a start date and get sworn in .. so yes if you are going down for medical you get a start date and it will be in the email with what to bring for your medical 

I appreciate the feedback,  I was under the impression that the drug test and medical were done simultaneously. Appreciate the response.  I have to save for another round trip flight lol

Just a hypothetical question,  if all goes well on Tuesday with the screening, do you find out that day if and when you start training? Just trying to get a idea cause I'm currently living out of state and ready to move back up north for this opportunity.  I appreciate all feedback cause I need to plan moving my family.  Thx

Received a call / text to go down for pre-employment process on Tuesday. List # in 700s. Just keep a eye out for emails and phone calls. Good luck to all

If you look back at some of the older posts,  im pretty sure you can contact HR directly or the main office. There is contact information in previous posts. Im sure you will be able to fly back and show up in person and they will honor your list number. I would try calling first but I don't think you should be worried. I'm in a similar situation,  I'm patiently waiting and would have to drop my current job and take a flight up north in a moment notice. Good luck

Anyone know the highest list number called for drug screening?

Is it possible that they can reach numbers in the high 700s - mid 800s by end of this year?

Just wanted to thank both of you guys for the advice. I tried reaching out to Ms Robinson but no responses came back so I had decided to go down to Livingston Street on Thursday and they were able to help me out big time.  They were able to get me an appointment for the medical the very next day being Friday for 7am. So yesterday "being Friday" I went down at 7am and took the medical and was cleared for final processing and got hired at around 4:30pm. I made it into the September 13th class.

Congratulations.  I will keep all this in mind if ever in same situation.  Are you listed in the 400's?

You mean that the last guy on list is 1789 out of the 1900 they need ? I'm just trying to figure out where that would put us on the list pool for hire.

Has anyone received a notification for drug screening or upcoming class on Aug 2nd ? Just curious if each class is from the next "100" on the list and if the MTA is notifying people if they are not selecting them.from the list pool.

Anyone receive a drug screening email / phone call? I'm assuming if new class is in Aug 2, the next wave should be contacted. Is there only one class per month?

I wear contacts , I wear them daily.  Do they make you take them out for the test?

I had same issue but I tried numerous times to update address with no confirmation.  Anyways I wouldn't worry, they contacted me via email , phone call (left a voice mail) and even a text message. As long as your phone and email contact are up to date, you should be fine when they contact you.
