I was talking more about experiences such as better wages over time, benefits, incentives. Are they any major differences working for the MTA in a civil service position such as train operator or bus operator vs working for LIRR or MNR.
Im curious because I recently took an exam for MNR terminal attendant and I saw NYCT has a station cleaner exam open which would be a opportunity to work for the city , but the pay is less than what MNR is offering , but can be beneficial in the long run for advancement into station agent , conductor etc.
