  1. It is a possibility because the MTA was talking about Sixth Avenue CBTC, so the B and D lines would have had CBTC. Chances are however, the existing R179's on the A and C lines could take over the B and D. The F amd M lines are already NTT's since QBL has had CBTC.
  2. Pretty sure that these companies have been very reliable with the NTT's. MTA could go with other manufacturers like you said, just not CRRC or some cheap junk.
  3. https://www.instagram.com/p/CkgRddduMAi/ Here are photos of the R211T's as of November 2, 2022. They were then transferred to Coney Island where open-gangway connections were installed, and now Pitkin Yard.
  4. I kind of wish that OMNY fixed their system so that it would take Google Pay from my Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G. It doesn't work on my phone where it constantly tells me to tap again, so I had to switch to a physical card. It is incredibly weird because the Note 20 has NFC working. I can wirelessly charge my phone and use Google/Samsung Pay to purchase snacks at a physical store.
  5. Speaking of the R211S trains, what is interesting is that if they're all replacing all 64 R44's (15 trains), Staten Island Railway would get the same amount of trains suppose that every R211S train is a five-car set (75 cars in total).
