Up to 7220 in service @ Howell AFAIK.

They have ads on the front of the CNGs now. They look so much better with them on than they did blank. 

^^^All this is the reason I don't fan with my camera anymore. People see a camera and automatically think you're taking a picture of them, when the truth is I couldn't give one, two, three, yellow, red, green, or blue f**ks about them.

7278 is getting sent back because it had the parking brake above the foot signals like 7101-7118. I dont know why 7279-7284 was sent back.

7279-84 were out this morning so I don't think there's anything wrong with them.

I think it's "151T PATERSON EXPRESS" or something like that. If you look on MybusNow, it should say what the destination sign would say.

7362 is in. Howell has all of the first CNG order. 7215-7277 will be coming in soon.

 

Soon enough we're gonna see those bad boys on the weekends.

Fairview has 7781-82.

Up to 7334 (as I know of) at Howell.

 

Howell has no more 75XX D4000s. Those were all sent back to Fairview and Ironbound.

It's amazing how fast this order is nearly complete.

Your garage's hybrid pilot is probably done too. It may even be on it's way here as I type this lol.

 

Yeah I can't wait until we get 7218-7277. I'm gonna miss those D4500's though. Had some good memories on those things.

What is the number series for the D4500CTs going up to?

7278 is out right now. Guess they may have a few running on the weekends.

The last of the current order has been built(up to 7362)

 

Now the next set is being built, 7215, 16 and 17 have been built.

TTMG has pics of those and a few higher 73XX buses at the Detroit Diesel facility on their website. If I can weasel myself out of bed soon I may go over there if I can get my errands for today done in time.

 

Idk if anyone caught busdude2's post in the DesignLine thread, but according to Subchat, NJT pulled them from service because the problems were getting worse. Wonder if NJT is gonna opt to buy another 14 MCIs?

Word is that 7217 is built. Gonna try and find out more about that. Buses built are in the 7360s.

That must be the first of the 63 buses that are supplementing the remaining DesignLines.

 

They've already built into 7360 and I haven't seen anything past 7316...

8269-8271 are at twp. 8272-8277 are ironbound. However i saw 8277 on the 67 last week at the toms river p/r.

 

You can still track buses thats in manual mode, just depends which app you have.

 

The arrival of the first hybrid has been pushed to march/april.

Howell still has 8274 and 8276.

 

Which app do you use? Is it iOS compatible?

They have 7310-7314 hooked up to clever devices (as I've seen).

I saw quite a few of them inbound and outbound this morning. I don't know if this was mentioned or not, but I noticed the back of those buses have cameras for seeing what's behind it

Is this the camera you're talking about? Yeah it's probably one of those cameras that records accidents for lawsuits.

 

Did you see any older CNGs, according to the numbers, there's only 9 left.

 

You know what else is weird, I haven't seen anything over 7308 on MyBusNow yet.

Been seeing less and less Academy buses on Route 9 in the AM. They seem to be doing more PM runs.

Saw a few things today....

 

There's a D4000 in the Meadowlands lot along with a ton of old CNGs.

 

There was a Neoplan Artic on the N/B side Turnpike by Secaucus Junction, any reason why it was coming from Newark?

7115 is back at Howell.
