The reason why you haven't gotten a call is because there are still classes going on. Once a class is ready to hit the road they start calling a bunch of people for the final processing, the day of the final if all goes well they swear you in and give you a start date.
How are you supposed to run 6 car 46's is 98% of them are 4 car sets?
Then operation on train movement has to change
Will you people calm down already. I never seen such a heated passionate discussion over subway cars. I think the crews should be more worried on what goes on what line since we are the ones who have to work this equipment 8+ hours.
Anyone hear receive a duplicate pre-employment letter in the mail recently? I just went last week and know I got the same exact letter as the first time in the mail to report next week.
Good tip, because the shoes they issue you suck, and you can be prone to getting heal spur's I suffered from a heal spur for almost 1 year after working in TA So make sure your feets are comfy because there is a lot of walking in this job.
Ok, I just got a letter to go in for my drug test for Train operator. It does say 20.9600 per hour and it does say Train op/yard. So I have to find out what that's about. Thank you.
He better make sure and go to 180 Livingston street and find out why this is. There hiring a ton of people I don't see why they played your friend like that.
Your pass only works on MTA NYC transit buses not MTA buses, and not express buses like the MCI buses. Also why are you dipping your pass, you were told that would ruin the pass weren't you?
Its a bunch of bullshit. I know the real reason why they do this swap. I've operated plenty of 32's in the summer on the that were hot as hell out doors and then get cooler when underground. And hot cars that the crew have to be in don't get fixed, they get "buried" If you work down here you know what I mean.
