5328 & 5335 delivered to Flatbush today.

And I don't think the B41 should. Once it hits the Junction, north of the line is just obstruction hell. If it was short turns only, maybe. But I think only the B44 is fine, that and maybe the B46.
The 41 can accommodate the LFSAs better than the 46. Remember, north of Crown St on Utica Avenue begins to bottleneck into one lane each direction up til Broadway where you have the short-turns at DeKalb Avenue, and the ones continuing northwest to the bridge along Broadway, still one lane. Not saying it cannot fit, but the 41 can accommodate better with two lanes (smaller than Utica's two lanes). And contrary to belief, the 41 bus stops are actually long enough too.

That's a recent change since we got more LFSAs coming in now, as of Friday. They started running them on weekends now as well. That's odd, I caught one earlier this evening:
[yes, is blurry]

The 41 shouldnt be that bad, are artics allowed on the 41 yet or just 44?
You're smoking. You go drive that shit then.
What's your regular assignment? The B41 is that bad, for those who will ask.
IMO, should have asked for the B49 LTD...
I'm always on the 46 (ALWAYS).
And there's no such thing as asking for an 49 LTD. Number 1: that's AM work, and if the runs are covered there, then I can't get it; Number 2. we have hybrid schedules, where you may have one trip that's local to Downtown, then come out as an LTD, and vice versa when you get to the other end; it's all how the runs are setup. Some runs have LTD all day, some have local day.
I got stuck with 1 round LTD and 1 round local tomorrow, then switch over to the 46 later in the evening for one local round trip.

Requested for a change of assignment from my regular run tomorrow... and got the 41.
God help me.

Why you need EZPass at Flatbush? lol
Marine Parkway Bridge for pullouts to Far Rock

I tried getting 5333 when I pulled out today, but there's no EZ-Pass installed! So I'm stuck with a 5800. lol

There are specific runs that short-turn at Empire Blvd - some local and some LTD, to avoid all the 41s going Downtown and getting stuck in traffic.I do think they should have some short turn buses at the junction to at least untangle the congestion..
And yes, they have rush hour shuttles that deadhead to the Junction, load then head into Bergen Beach a few times (and vice versa in the AM).

Whoever is maintaining the TTMG roster -
You guys can put the B44 under the articulated route assignments next to the A Shuttle.

I'll get some tomorrow.
They did change the seat configuration in the rear of the bus though... No more face-to-face seating arrangement.

5324 and 5333 have been delivered to Flatbush today. Brand fuccking new with bush stickers.

Fucck that.
You get behind the seat and you deal with the dumbass questions, and then we'll talk in a few years.
It's very, very rare an operator will have a different sign up "by accident". If it's a different route, and someone comes and corrects you, then that's fine. There's many times that it's justified. There's also times the dispatcher will order the operator to put up a short-turn sign to push folks onto the bus behind you just to get you back on track. It happens.
Passenger: "you're only going to Eastern Parkway?"
Me: "No, I'm going to Eastern Parkway."
Call me what you want, but fucck that.
But I'll take those questions over the "is this a limited?" any day.
Pink sign in the window, and folks choose to still ask.
I just point to the sign, no words spoken.

Not that I'm aware of. We're only running artics on the 44 during the morning, and they have be pulled in before the PM segment starts because that's when our shuttle work begins on the A (since we lost the hawks and the AM work).
And if the guy saw an LFSA going north on Utica, then likely pulling out to JFK Airport.1 -
And because of the construction, a bunch of ppl got on the Bergen Beach bound bus and later had to get off when they saw the bus make the left on Av N because they wanted the KP bound bus. smh, I still say they should have a B41a and B41b. If people aren't going to bother reading the signs, at least try to make it easier for them to get the hint (this line) is not going to (this destination).
People never read the signs anyway, except for the few who make an effort, so oh well. They can either get off at 45th when the bus makes the left onto Avenue N (then wait for the KP 41 or the B9), or go to Utica and pickup the 46 which frequents 10 times better and more reliable.
I have a pet peeve of mine with the first trip on the 46, doing an LTD to Eastern Parkway.
Folks asking me, "excuse me, driver - you're only going to Eastern Parkway?"... then when I give them a sarcastic answer, they get mad. You did the right thing by reading the sign, but still want to ask me if I'm going to Eastern Parkway only. Fuccking dumbasses.

Also was 5041 at ENY? I could've sworn I saw it had an ENY sticker while it ran down Utica just outside the depot.
It's very well assigned to Flatbush, but stickers haven't been changed out yet.

Not sure what happened with 4946, but it's no longer assigned to Flatbush, nor any other depot.
Trev, you got any additional info?

As per Subchat, LFS-As are now operating on the B44 (the 5800s from Flatbush; nothing new)
You're a bit late. Take a look at some of the other threads, more specifically the 44SBS one.
