I could see Bronx and Manhattan pushing all NG Hybrids out, even though they're getting a few less new buses than the amount of buses they already have.
As for Queens, QV is getting just the right amount of new LFS units to retire all 2007 Hybrids, but they would still be left with their NG Hybrids. However, Jamaica is also receiving buses from the new LFS order, so they could easily displace older LFS buses to Queens Village to push out their remaining NG Hybrids. Jamaica could also supplement GH/KB if they are a little short, as you stated.

Brooklyn: Grand Avenue and East New York should be getting enough buses to push out all of their NG Hybrids. If not, Ulmer Park is getting 020 of the new XD40s, so they can send over some buses if needed. Flatbush is supposedly receiving 040 XD40s, which would leave them with a remainder of ~025 NG Hybrids, which Ulmer Park could help displace. I think the only NYCT depot that will still have a good amount of NG Hybrids after the new buses are delivered will be Fresh Pond.

This is just a prediction btw.

Brooklyn,  would definitely  be pushing out Next Gens because  they are getting a somewhat good amount of the 2021 XD40's ENY,FP, FB and GA I could see push then out now GA could push out the rest since they getting 25 XDE's unless they push out those 2015 XD40's. ENY would push out the 20 plus Next Gens when they get the 25 XDE's and that would leave them with a few left until they get the newer order of XD40's and they would push out more or whatever they can. FB can push out 40 plus of Next Gens and then have some left and then FP can push them out 39 Next gens since that the amount they would get from the new XD40 orders and then they would have some left ass well, and then from there it would be some Next Gens roaming Brooklyn. Manhattan  I could still see having Next Gens roaming as well especially  from MHV and Quill because they got some 2009/2010 Models and I think only a handful would stay around just depending  on if it's  enough from the new bus orders to push them out, I already know the 2008 Models are definitely  leaving so yeah but that's  just my belief I could be wrong, it's the same with CS not all Next gens would get pushed out only the handful from the amount of Novas they get would or should be the amount of Next gens that leave. Bronx Idk I heard KB would keep some as spares and then GH would push all there's out.

Can we PLEASE move theses conversations to the RANDOM THOUGHTS thread! BUS MOVES AND TRANSFERS ONLY!!!

It wasn't scrapped years ago, #2906 last tracked on January 27th of this year on the QM31.

Edit: #2905 is currently running on the QM32, so that unit is still in service.

Did you physically see 2906? You can't base your info only on tracking. #2906 was sent to scrap years ago. The only 2900's at CP are 2905 & 2910. 2907 was recently send to  ECH Scrap.

if you are going to respond to a statement of mine, please read my entire statement.

Will you please answer the following: when the claim the bus is at Grand Ave., is at the DEPOT or BASE SHOP?  Please reread the words I said.

Grand Ave. Base Shop is not a garage!  Grand Ave. depot is, despite the fact they're in the same building.  Why?  Because a bus at Grand Ave. Base Shop will not run on a Grand Ave. route unless/until the Base shop is finished with the bus and is told by operations to send it to Grand Ave. DEPOT for service.

Why can't the 100% of the posters here understand there is a  difference between Grand Ave. Base Shop and Grand Ave. Depot?

The same was true when FLA would send buses to KB for repainting. I took a shot of RTS #5093, with it's FLA decal parked next to KB Depot, waiting to be repainted. Once that bus was repainted, it was driven back to FLA Depot. It never ran out of KB. Depot.

This is a message board that reports things AFTER they happen since there are no hookups with the NYCT Dept. of Buses to tell us what WILL happen IN THE FUTURE.  The future, in NYCT jargon, is 5 minutes before it actually happens.   Same goes for what time things will happen at a later time in the 24 hour day.

As for what routes individual buses will run on, that is not decided in advance.  It is decided by the Surface Line Dispatcher in the depot at the time a driver needs a bus!  Even if it was decided in advance, there is nobody here with a hookup who can tell you hours in advance what will happen later.

You'll just have to check Bus Time throughout the day and night and click on the routes.  There are APPS out there that give you bus numbers as well as location.

All divisions of NYCT are on an EMERGENCY operation at this time.  While they do have plans all set up, the execution of those plans are made on a moments notice.  So asking what is going to happen at 12Noon, 1PM...…. 6PM, 7PM, 8 PM is unknown till the moment it happens.  That includes bus assignments between depots which very well could continue throughout the afternoon as bus operators to do the tasks become available.

    Well said! I agree 100%!
