…While it's unknown if his racism had anything to do with the team name, it's still racist.

And Peter Pan uses racial stereotypes AND used racist language to make the Natives look like jokes. "Redskin" and "squaw" are two HUGE epithets towards Natives, and the song "Why Is the Red Man Red?" mocks their skin color.

The only reason you don't see Peter Pan slammed so much for it is because it was a product of the times (aired in 1953). It doesn't change how that movie factually objectifies and stereotypes Natives via racist language.
