If Disney released Peter Pan today, it would be slammed so badly because of the blatant racial stereotypes and racist language towards Native Americans.

"Redskin" IS factually racist, and don't throw around the "liberal" political ad hominem if you want to share a good quality opinion. Native Americans view that term as a racial slur for over a century. The original owner of the franchise, George Preston Marshall, was a lifelong racist, and his team was the last to racially integrate in the NFL (and had to because JFK threatened to kick the team out of RFK Stadium if he didn't comply). …While it's unknown if his racism had anything to do with the team name, it's still racist.
And Peter Pan uses racial stereotypes AND used racist language to make the Natives look like jokes. "Redskin" and "squaw" are two HUGE epithets towards Natives, and the song "Why Is the Red Man Red?" mocks their skin color.
