  1. The uptown would still share one track between Bowling Green and Brooklyn Bridge. Track Map Anyways, here's a new scenario: The following are unusable - Entire Bowery station - Middle track Essex St - UPTOWN express track at West 4th Street
  2. Just saying, would it kill you to make posts without severely butchering the English language? It's not that much harder to type out "please" instead of "plz," or "people" instead of "ppl." I honestly can't even take what you say seriously because it's clear that you don't really care when you're typing so fast and making it hard for people to decipher what you say.
  3. The Lexington Av local tracks end at Brooklyn Bridge. Trains would have to merge onto the express tracks to reach Bowling Green.
  4. I'm pretty sure that the can't all squeeze onto one track... that's like 60tph+.
  5. Guys, this is getting ridiculous. Stop. Here's something for you guys to solve: Due to a stalled train, no trains may pass through the City Hall loop. At the same time a Bronx bound train stalled in the tunnel between 135th Street and 149th Street which leaves only the Bronx bound track unusable. The Manhattan bound track is unaffected.
  6. Uptown via the runs between 96th Street and Brooklyn (and any trains already on 7th Avenue/Broadway turn at 96th)
  7. Do you even know what you're saying half the time? So hypothetically, if the MTA wanted to cut the M31 so that it ran on York Avenue only and didn't do the 57th Street portion, Yorkville riders would be "lazy idiots" who should "STFU," as you put it?
  8. Actually that's precisely correct. If I was trying to go to Brooklyn and a train pulled up, I wouldn't get on that even if I saw the signs said that it was going to Utica Av or Flatbush because the correct thing that most New Yorkers would assume is that the sign is broken. Even if the station agents made an announcement over the intercom most people still wouldn't be on it because those things are practically undecipherable and nobody can ever understand what they're saying.
  9. What the **** has happened to this thread.
  10. runs between 207th St and 34th St via LOCAL... Chambers St to Rockaway/Lefferts runs between Chambers St and Euclid runs between Jamaica Center and 34th St runs between Broadway-Lafayette to Brighton Beach runs between the Bronx and 34th St... Broadway-Lafayette to Coney island runs between 179th St and 34th St... Delancey St to Coney Island runs between Forest Hills and 34th St... Broad St to Metropolitan Av
  11. If you mean run them through Coney Island then please check the track map to see why that's not going to work.
  12. Uptown runs via the Uptown runs express between 42nd and 125th
  13. Congrats, but god these kind of scenarios are the most unrealistic and annoying of them all. My solution is just increased service on trains. What would you do?
  14. For some reason his foamer fantasy is telling him that there are more people who need to travel directly between Broadway Junction to the Upper West Side/West Midtown than people who want to use it for its normal route. Basically it will have the same affect as a train traveling from 168th Street down to West 4th Street, and then running express and making no stops until Broadway Junction, where it will terminate. At least he isn't closing down the transit museum and angering hundreds of people just to use it as a terminal, or sending the or to Coney Island. And hey, he's completely screwing over trains riders also for no reason whatsoever even though that line is completely unaffected, but he's sending it down to Broad Street instead of 168th Street where it would serve no purpose!
  15. runs between Broadway-Lafayette and Brighton Beach runs in 2 sections: 205th to 2nd Avenue, via 8th Avenue local south of 59th - Broadway-Lafayette to Coney Island runs via 8th Avenue express runs via 8th Avenue local runs to Broad Street 8th Avenue local: 8th Avenue express:
  16. Easy. runs between 207th and 145th and 59th to Lefferts/Rockaways runs between 205th and 145th and 59th and Coney Island Guys, remember FASTRACK means overnight, and the don't run then.
  17. Track Maps Check out the link above and use it as a reference for when you solve these. There's certain things that you've said that go against the track maps. - If the is going to go express on 8th Avenue, it has to start from Canal Street (and skip Spring Street) - The cannot go to Jay Street via the (It can via Nassau and the but nobody would do that and that wouldn't provide any relief for the A/C)
  18. run local via 6th Avenue trains terminate at Chambers Street trains terminate at Broad Street
  19. 45tph is too much. = 15tph = 7tph = 15tph = 8tph (Yes, the is 15tph. Check the schedule: between 7:30am and 9:00am there's a train every 3-4 minutes Manhattan bound)
  20. runs between the Bronx and West 4th Street runs in 2 sections: the Bronx to West 4th Street - Whitehall Street to Brooklyn runs via the between West 4th Street and Jay Street to Broad Street --- NEXT No trains may pass through Chambers Street . The World Trade Center station is unaffected.
  21. runs in 2 sections: The Bronx to 86th Street via express - Brooklyn Bridge to the Bronx uptown runs via the between Brooklyn and the Bronx downtown runs via Lexington Avenue local runs between the Bronx and 86th Street or 59th Street via local
  22. runs in 2 sections: The Bronx to 96th Street - Chambers Street to South Ferry runs in 2 sections: The Bronx to 96th Street - Chambers Street to Brooklyn runs between 148th Street and 96th Street
  23. I'll give it a try: trains terminate at Rector Street trains terminate at Brooklyn Bridge trains run via the between the Bronx and Brooklyn trains run in 2 sections: 207th to Utica - Euclid to Lefferts OR JFK trains run between 168th and Utica trains run in 2 sections: Manhattan to Myrtle Avenue - Atlantic Avenue to Canarsie trains run in 2 sections: Manhattan to Chauncey Street - Alabama Av to Jamaica Center trains run via the Bridge --> trains run local via Broadway to avoid merging delays trains suspended
  24. ... So then base it out of a Staten Island or Brooklyn depot. What's the problem?
