  1. Once the R179s are in, the R32s and R42s are out. Simple as that. The older cars can't stay around for much longer; that's why the R179 order has to take place.

what year are the R179 coming in...

    WAT no more SMEE?? :cry::cry::cry::cry::(:tdown::tdown:

  2. yes, so I think that when ENY gets the R179 4 car sets, either the R42's or the R179 should go to the (C). The (C) Needs new cars of 10 cars. I have witnessed many times the (C) getting so crowded. The R44's on the (C) were a great help.

If the (C) stays 8 cars, I really hope the (MTA) would put the R179 on the (C) & give some R32 to ENY to put on the (J).

  3. okay heres another subway route that has stops that are not too close together & has an express service as well. Runs from 32 Avenue-Clearveiw Expressway, Queens - to - Washington Heights-168 Street, Manhattan. The Line is underground in places where theres not alot of traffic and around LGA Airport In Queens and is elevated otherwise (except for 167 Street tunnel between Odgen Avenue & Harlem River Drive). Bullet: Indigo (W)

once again, Express stops in Red & Local In green.

Its only 46 stops, (I think) how many the (2) has. There is a spur track that connects to the (A) and goes to 207 Street yard where the line gets its trains from. There is another spur track that runs connecting up the (C) @ 168 Street. Im someday planning to make a BVE route out of my fictional routes.

  4. The (S6) Avenue was only a temporarily service to serve the Sixth Avenue Line when the 63rd Street Connector was under construction. There is no need for a (S6) Avenue. Plus the gray (K) is a real proposal which everyone believes should be implemented. It's to skip stop with the (L). The (J), and the (Z) has a similar service, and it works.

I know. btw there is an (S6) bullet so there is no need to post (S)-6 Avenue.

  5. That is a good idea. If you looked at my posts on the last page you would find out that a gray (K) was proposed to skip stop along with the (L). If this happens the (L), and the (K) can be extended up Tenth Avenue to better serve the West Side, and be extended along the Bay Ridge Branch to create a much needed crosstown Brooklyn line on designated subway tracks on a line capable of carrying 6 tracks with only 2 surviving tracks today.

We Need a Grey K Bullet! Mods?... I requested the (S6) and like it alot.

  6. the (13) was planned for a skip-stop service with the (3) in brooklyn.

at least its less stops than the (12).

  7. Just don't do it. Make a good project, and make it super cheap. Also an (L) crew would find your route a nightmare. They might have to do a 6 hour work shift. They won't really get paid much for it.

oh god you are right; I will redo this but this time have a shuttle going across the bronx and back and then the (12) starting at Harlem Water Drive Thingy (kind of forgot first stop in manhattan name). That will cut out alot of stations.

  8. Proposed line that alot of people dont know about: (Y)/(L) Canarsie Skip-Stop.

and phew that took me 2 hours using google maps to think it out. I am going to Revise it b/c I think its too many stops. Im coming up with other routes as well. Post them soon!:(

  9. Yea but now its time for the big question :D

What is the fate of the R62As on the (7)? When will that be confirmed?

I think a few R62A's are going to stay on the (7)<7>. most of them will go to the (6)<6> (hopefully b/c the LEDs on those cars would be a big help). I thought that R62A (1) train using cars from the (7)<7> was staying there. I guess no R62A's from the (7) are going to the (1).

Dont know when it will be confirmed. well just have to wait and see what the (MTA) says.

    :tup:R142A's to the (7)<7> :tdown:no more RFW.

  10. yes! Cant wait for it to happen. I was expecting the R142's & R188's to combine as is being R142A 5 cars - R188 middle car - R142A 5 cars to make an 11 car set.

Now a message to everyone: get your RFW shots of the (7)<7> before theres no more RFW!

so next year at this time. Its going to fly by so quickly...

  11. this was a random youtube search.
