Why they run it for?

I will not fall for it unless there is actual proof.

Or I am getting trolled from going out to the and get nothing.

Yesterday I had to wait for 4 trains to pass before I finally got on. There were like about more than 10 minute waits for the in the p.m rush. I checked the countdown clock it says that the next train is about 13 minutes away thats crazy in the rush hour. Delays can mess up the Lex Av line.

I heard during Sandy they left those R44s in the CIY instead of moving them away from the yard.

Its better than waiting in the cold for the bus.

Or you can talk the to Delcancy St and walk to 2 Av or East Broadway but until 11;30 p.m. After that take the to Fulton St for to Delcancy St and walk to 2 Av or East Broadway.

I did not see a R42 today. Surprising.

Nov 16/17...they restored the outage. So that makes:
- 8 Av-Myrtle
- 161-Woodlawn
- Willets-Main
- Chambers-Essex
- Van Wyck-Jamaica
- Church-57/7
-Various minor express runs
Note: The Jamaica outage also occurs on Thanksgiving weekend. I predict some problems w/ AirTrain-bound luggage-toting passengers.
They still have the for the airport customers.

That explains why I saw that local Service begins early.....
Harlem bound trains also run local from 42 St to 96 St. Any reason for the to run local. The has do heavylifting that week.

On this weeks late night change are rerouted to the at Wall street. I looked at the track map and there is no connection between these stations how is it possible?
By reversing direction at Wall St. Trains don't run frequently in the late night hours.

Today's scrap notes, 10/22/13:
R27 8145 and R30 8463 have finally left to New Jersey a little before 2pm this afternoon. Four trucks were used: two for the railcars and two for the cars' trucks and other parts. Both cars have been stripped of glass and windows it seems. As a gag, pieces of paper were put on the end rollsign windows of 8145 - New Jersey. Like the school cars that left yesterday, 8463 still had advertisements up inside. Photos of this move will be up tonight.
In other notes, R40 cars 4280-81 and R42 4572-73 have joined up with the Arnines at 207 Street Yard. The R95 Revenue Collection Cars, I did not see their location in the yard (pehaps inside the shop?).
No cars next up on the scrap line at this time.
So the R40 and R42 may run on the hiolday train?!?!?

Hopefully the Queens Blvd FastTrack will have no effect on the hours/frequency of the Brooklyn R service (Court St to 95th St) this week. Waiting for the R shuttle at 36th St is every Bay Ridge resident's worst nightmare: it can easily add 45 minutes to a commute (20 minutes to wait for a delayed D or N, then just missing an R, followed by 20 to 25 minutes for the following R shuttle).
The Brooklyn section of the will not be affected by the Queens Blvd Fastrack.

What are they doing in the Sea Beach line this weekend? I was riding the Manhattan bound N on the Sea Beach and see no work trains and no ungoing work this morning. Why reroute the vis the ? If there is barely any work going on.

This remind me when the first Manhattan Bridge shut down .he on weekend at the time was in Manhattan on Sixth Ave go toward Essex Street then reverse itself to get to the Montague Street Tunnel.
I think it's the you are talking about.

How is that possible...
Reverse direction at Wall St by using the diamond crossover south of Wall St. Trains don't run frequently in the late night hours.

When the had R68's for one yerar after the 2010 service cuts, how many of them ran overnight during that time? I think 3 to 4 of them rain overnight during that time.

What about the ? Unless the focus is just the Rutgers Tunnel
It's mostly the Rutgers tunnel.

In December the first week (dec2 to 6) there no train from west 4 street to Jay street. this will be interesting
The will mostly likely run via Cranberry between West 4 St and Jay St in both directions during that fastrack

Cross-honor (which for MetroCards basically means ride for free) until midnight. There's actually no need to run extra shuttle trains, just have all trains make Forest Hills/Kew Gardens/Woodside stops.
Good idea. I know that using the requires a tranfer coming from Midtown. The is long but it can help a bit.

What do you think of a 57th Street - Jamaica Center? Or maybe a full Broadway express. (I know the idea of a Fastrack is not to disrupt the rest of the subway) But the and are still well patronized until about 1am. Currently the has the capacity for the existing fastrack, but an Eastern("northern") QB shut down may be too much for bustitution.
The to 57 St/6 Av is a Wallyhorse idea. People would get confused.
Not going to work, too convoluted and takes too long. If any supplemental service is to be provided besides shuttle buses I would say LIRR shuttle trains.
The L.I.R.R is expensive and cost more than the subway?

For a Queens Blvd East shutdown, I would do this.
ends early
turn at Roosevelt: run the every 20min from 10pm onwards and the local if Roosevelt can't turn them both.
shuttle train Sutphin to 179th.
Local bus: Roosevelt , all stops to Union Tpk.
Express bus: Roosevelt , Woodhaven, Forest Hills, Union Tpk, Briarwood-Van Wyck, Sutphin , Sutphin , Jamaica Center
Extra Q44 service until midnight
I would also make the run every 6 to 8 minutes during this time until midnight. The MTA should allow a free walking tranfer from the to buses at 165 St terminal during this time.
