    (Q) trains run from Jamaica Center to Coney Island, via 63rd and QBL express

    (M) trains run to Chambers/Broad

    (A) trains run from Canal St to JFK/Lefferts

    (C) trains run via 6th Ave Express from 59th to 42nd and 6th Ave local from 34th to West 4th.

    (E) suspended

  2. A power outage has hit Bedford Park Boulevard and it's nearby yards. What would you do?

    (3) runs limited service

    (4) trains run out of Livonia, or Pelham to Burnside or Kingsbridge Rd

    (B) train run to 145th all times

    (D) trains run out of CIY to Tremont or Fordham Rd

  3. You guys disappointed me tonight. Last weekend everybody went totally apeshit over R62A's running on the (2) to Flatbush, but I didn't see ANYONE come out to ride my (D) via 8th Ave tonight. R68 on 8th Ave!!!! OMG?

I've seen the (D) via 8th Ave before, and I have pics. Nothing special to me.

Huh? What do you think, Like I have a money tree growing in the backyard or I just struck the lotto. If that's the case I'll rent a helicoptor.

Dude seriously, taking the train from Brooklyn (And I mean Bensonhurst) to the Fordham in the Bronx can cost as much as 60 dollars! Like I have that kind of money. That amount wasted on a taxi can pay for a utility bill or groceries.

I ran out of likes, I gotta get up tomorrow and like this.

  4. This isn't the headways, it's proabably something around DeKalb. That area of signals is always f'ed up somehow. Remember the (D) has to merge with the (N), then the (B) and run through midtown, so it is heavily prone to delays. Think of it this way, anything that happens to the (N)(Q)(R) and (B) affects you at Grand or 59th.

  5. What about trains coming to Coney Island? Remember I said that the downtown track is stuck leading to the lower level? The track dead ends against a bumper. How will you reroute the trains?

Umm... via Sea Beach like TrainFanInfinity said...

    (B): Runs in two sections-

    (B) 1. Between Bedford Park Boulevard and West 4th Street, rush hours.

(B)2. Between Astoria - Ditmars Boulevard (rush hours) or Queensboro Plaza (other times) and Brighton Beach, via Broadway Express - Bridge South - Astoria Local.

    (D): Runs in two sections-

    (D) 1. Between Norwood - 205th Street and West 4th Street.

(D)2. Between 57th Street - 7th Avenue and Coney Island - Stillwell Avenue, via Broadway Express - Bridge South.

(M): Via Nassau Street Line to Broad Street. Rush Hours extended to Bay Parkway, via 4th Avenue Local, West End Local. Recolored brown.

(Q): Truncated to 57th Street - 7th Avenue all times.

(V): RESTORED. Forest Hills - 71st Avenue to Lower East Side - 2nd Avenue.

Why not call it a <Q> , like previously in the early 2000's

  6. It's been a while for me and this foamfest...

Due to signal problems, switches at West 4th Street are stuck in the straight postion. This means all trains passing on the local track must pass 6th Avenue --> 8th Avenue northbound, and 8th Avenue --> 6th Avenue southbound. Use track maps to your benefit, and good luck.

The switches north of the station are unaffected.

    (C) and (F) terminal switch south of W4, just temporary.

    (E) trains run between Jamaica and 34th-Penn.

    (M) trains run 8th Ave Local from 53rd-5th to W4.

  7. The Chrystie Street Connection cannot be used due to a structural problem that will be fixed for about 5 years. Where would the  (M) go without a connection to the Sixth Avenue Line towards Forest Hills?

This will also affect the (B)(D)

    (B) trains run from Bedford/145th to W4

    (D) trains run from 205th to W4 (some trains to Broadway-Lafyette during rush)

    (M) trains run from Metro Ave to Coney Island via West End, all times.

    <Q> service restored

  8. A riot near 66th St. - Lincoln Center has closed the station due to big riot crowds. What would you do?

    Service Change 2/27/13 7:22AM

Due to crowds rioting   (1) trains are currently running on the (3) between 72nd Street and 42nd Street-Times Square.

-For service to 50th Street transfer at Times Square-42nd Street to an uptown (C) or (E) train.

-For service to 59th Street-Columbus Circle transfer at Times Square-42nd Street to an uptown (A) or (C) train.

-For service to 66th Street-Lincoln Center walk or take an M104 bus to 72nd Street

  9. For a second here I thought this was the Unplanned Service Changes thread... lol

    Service Change Posted 2/27/13 9:51AM

Due to a loss of power from Times Square to Grand Central

    (7) and <7> trains are not running between Hunters Point Ave and Times Square-42nd Street.

-For service to Times Square, transfer at Queensboro Plaza to a Manhattan-bound (N) or (Q) train.

-For service to Grand Central-42nd Street transfer at Queensboro Plaza to a manhattan-bound (N) or (Q) train. Then transfer at Lexington Avenue for a downtown (4)(5) or (6) train.

-For service to 5th Ave transfer at 45th Rd-Ct House Sq to a downtown (M) train. Exit the train at 42nd St-Bryant Park.

Times Square-Grand Central (S) train suspended. Use M42 buses.

Artics from MJQ and 100th are sent onto the M42 for service.

  10. Next - 239th Street and E. 180 yards are isolated from the mainline due to points failures. It is 30 minutes before morning rush hour. How do you provide lines with service?

Trains from Westchester serve. All <6> runs cancelled, trains run down via the express track making no stops. Some (6) runs are cancelled, and do the same thing. These trains reverse at 125th and run up to serve the (2).

Some R62 trains from Livonia serve the (2).

More (4) trains than normal run.

    (5) trains run as a shuttle from E 180th to Dyre

  11. NEXT: A homeless man has created a fire that got out of control in the 6th Ave tunnel just south of West 4th Street. Repairs to the signal boxes and much more must be made. No trains can pass on both uptown 6th Ave tracks just south of W4. This will take about a year to repair.

  12. NEXT: Structural problems at Fulton Local stops. The following stops are impassible on the local tracks due to this problem being fixed:

    -Franklin Ave

    -Kingston Throop Avenues

    -Liberty Ave

You can only add in 2 switches in any place.
