  1. NEXT: It is 1987. Use this map to see the service at that time http://www.nycsubway.org/perl/caption.pl?/img/maps/system_1987.gif

The 53rd St Line is impassable between 5th Av and Queens Plaza. Also, no trains can terminate at Queens Plaza, and due to a previous GO trains cannot run on the track that connects crosstown to Queens Blvd, meaning (G) trains are terminating at Court Sq. Reroute the (E) (F) and other lines as needed.

This route is based on my fantasy Second Avenue Line, but if Phase 3 and 4 of the planned SAS are ever completed, and the Rockaway RoW project takes off, this is the route I'd have serve it, just replace the Manhattan stops with the appropriate SAS stops.

Finally! Someone realizes that the taking of the Rockaway RoW Line could replace the Rockaway Shuttle.

  3. I highly doubt Cranberry can handle the (A), (C) and (F) all at once.

    How about this:

    (F) Terminates at 2nd Av and Jay St/MetroTech

With maybe some (only 5 or 6 tph) rush-hour service running via the (C) from Jay St-Metrotech to W4. All times, the (F) cannot run through Cranberry.

NEXT: Due to a derailment at 86th Street on CPW, no trains can pass on the upper level. Suppose signals are set up for wrong-railing.

  4. (F): Trains run on (C) line in both direction between West 4th St & Jay St-MetroTech.

Free shuttle buses operate as follows.

    1. Between Jay St and York St.

    2. Between Jay St & Broadway-Lafayette, serving Delancey-Essex Sts and Grand St, Lower East Side-2nd Av.

You can't fit that many trains through the A, C tube

  5. Next: Due to extensive track work and station work on the IRT for the weekend. The following areas are out of service. 1, The entire Lenox Line to 149 St and 148 St. 2,  The (2)  (3) line between Chambers St and Atlantic Av 3, The entire Nostrand Line. 4, The relay tracks south of Utica Av. 5, The downtown Pehalm tube between 3 Av and 125 St. 6, The Lexington Av Exp Tracks. Reroute the trains.

    (2) trains suspended.

    Affects (1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6)(A)(C)(E).
