NJTransitFan 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Share #2 Posted November 21, 2007 Is it just me or does the LIRR have issues week after week. NJ Transit shares its tracks (on the NEC) and they still have a better track record than the LIRR.

Key thing NJT does is schedule management to avoid being delayed by Amtrak. now about LIRR, there are too many faults throughout the system that causes it to go FUBAR so much. Schedule management is fine but maintaining the lines is sort of a problem for them. But they have problems that will just always be there and screw them in the end. Tracknut 0 Posted November 21, 2007 Share #4 Posted November 21, 2007 The LIRR is just too damn busy for its own good. I belive most of their problems are their locomotives and signaling.
