Blinkerdoors Posted October 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 3, 2009 By the way: I understand the E-60's had problems when they 1st came out in the late 1970's.(I remember on March 19, 1977, I,17 years old, took an Amtrak train led by a GE E-60. When the train reached 30th St. Sta., Phila., PA, next thing I know, it was pulled by a GG-1, on my way to Washington, DC, where it arrived late in the afternoon.) If problems were fixed, because I saw, some years ago, on my way to Dover, abandoned E-60's by the way, do you think they would've succeeded on NJ Transit?
