EE Broadway Local Posted October 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 12, 2009 For those who've visited Philadelphia, what are the good and bad things about railfanning the Broad Street Subway (and Ridge Avenue), Market Street-Frankford Line, Norristown Hi-Speed Line, PATCO and Route 15, the Girard Avenue PCC Line? metsfan Posted October 13, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 13, 2009 For those who've visited Philadelphia, what are the good and bad things about railfanning the Broad Street Subway (and Ridge Avenue), Market Street-Frankford Line, Norristown Hi-Speed Line, PATCO and Route 15, the Girard Avenue PCC Line? I would say the schedule & possible encounters with "are you a terrorist taking photos" being bad, the good is unique/vintage rolling stock. in general really does not give a crap about photography or people taking photos, but someone who sees you randomly could say something stupid. I'd get more shots myself but it's really out of the way. - A
Amtrak7 Posted October 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 25, 2009 Usually, I haven't seen many complaints about photography. However, after the recent terrorist arrests, they have began to be really suspicious of photographers, and some even have started investigations.
