EMS and the MBTA are on the scene, and there are reports that a male was seen fleeing the scene. The MBTA has shut down service in the area. Bus service is being provided between Jackson Square and Back Bay Station. In a press conference police tell FOX25 that although there was only one shooter, police are looking for two black males between 18 and 19 years old. At present the weapon has not been recovered. The victim is currently in surgery at the Boston Medical Center, and the wound is non-life threatening. Police would not say if the attack was gang-related.
