It's the second time around for holiday-bargain hunters since the Great Recession changed the economic landscape, and many are saying that tightening the purse strings is even more of a priority for them than it was in 2008. "I started with a list of 15 people, and now I'm down to six," said Justin Zambrana, 48, of Flushing, as he waited for his wife and daughter in the halls of the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst. "I don't exclude little kids, but all the adults have to go by the wayside," he said. While gifts are nice, family and friends understand when you have to make sacrifices. In a recession shows are the worst thing to spend money on because at the end of the day you have nothing to show for it, and you're probably out a few bucks for food too...
