East New York Posted May 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2010 It has been brought to my attention that some members either do not know how to use the multi-quote when posting, or they are just not using it. To avoid clutter, please use the multi-quote button located on the bottom right side of a post, just to the right of the quote button if you want to comment on more than one members post. If anyone has any questions, comments on concerns, please post them here. Thank you! If further assistance is needed, there is a step-by-step tutorial in this forum. The thread is Sticky, and titled "Multi-Quoting in a post" The link to the thread is just above this post. ~Dante~
mark1447 Posted May 18, 2010 Share #2 Posted May 18, 2010 I use it but it seems like if you multi~quote more then 8 post it removed 1. Must be some limit.
East New York Posted May 18, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted May 18, 2010 I use it but it seems like if you multi~quote more then 8 post it removed 1. Must be some limit. You are only allowed to multi-quote 8 posts at a time. Multi-quoting more than 4-5 posts at once is very uncommon. There's usually no need to quote that many. Also you should use the multi-quote in an actual discussion and not to say thanks or thank you. Use the button for that.
Grand Concourse Posted May 18, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 18, 2010 Problem is that sometimes the 'thanks' button doesn't show up. At times it's there and other times it's not.

You can only "thank" someone in a post 5 times per hour IIRC. This restriction is in place so people don't get carried away.
