BVE Train Announcements

Well on my way back from home yesterday, I recorded some MNRR announcements and was wondering how do you put the sounds into the train? I know that I need to ask first which I will do before doing anything.

look for the train folder you want to modify...then replace the sounds you want with a wave file (.wav) Note : It has to have the same name

You can't really do that, but you can put the announcements in a route. It's kind of complicated if you're brand new to looking at BVE coding.

If you want to put announcements (such as the "This is w/e street ones) those are embedded within the route not the train. You would have to place them into C:\Program Files\BVE\Railway\Sound or a subfolder inside that folder, and then in the route add them to the @station command (the last value for door close) or use @announce(filename.wav).

When linking to files dont include the C:\Program Files\BVE\Railway\Sound part, just start from there.

I've been using BVE for a while a while now, so I'm not that new to it. And plus I'm good with coding, so I'll see what I can do.

BVE coding is pretty much a programming language of its own lol there is no other (at least none that i know) that is like it.
