Calvin Posted September 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted September 19, 2010 I have a question to ask and its regarding the MCIs cause CP has a loss of old MCIs now. In the ttmg roster, CP has 8 MCIs old. I was wondering why because mostly its doing well with 30 old MCIs but now most of them is in SC. Also, i was wondering why 18xx and 19xx coaches are back at SC? I looked up info that 18xx and 19xx are used in SC before in 2008 and now its having 20 old and 20 new to CP (2004-2007 coaches).I also saw that 18xx and 19xx coaches are in Yonkers. * I was wondering if some of the 18xx/19xx coaches in storage can be fixed and sent to CP *Also, why most of the MTA BUS depots gave up some MCIs to CP? *Why are old MCIs used again in SC, i thought it was unused after 2008? http://gallery.bustalk.info/albums/userpics/10003/1909-dsc0877alo7.jpg http://gallery.bustalk.info/albums/userpics/10003/mid_1861-dsc2220ajv9.jpg
nycbusfan Posted September 20, 2010 Share #2 Posted September 20, 2010 I'm guessing Spring Creek has recieved some older MCI's due to the fact that they also have the newest ones. So I'm guessing this is to balance out the fleet age.
