I'm happy that I don't have to wait until Midnight to use the Bx28 to go home and it's good that the Bx38 is going to Fordham Center every now and then. That "Bx38 Fordham Center" sign isn't in vain now. lol On some nights you do have to wait until midnight for the Bx28, but the Bx38 runs later so you will have either bus (although the service can be infrequent, section 5 may have lost some evening service). Bx38 Fordham service is early weekday mornings (one N/B trip), early Sunday mornings (one N/B trip), and Sunday evenings (both directions), similar to Bx2 Riverdale service.
