Signal Problem affects all routes that run via Queens Boulevard

Broadway Local

Recommended Posts

Due to signal problems at the Briarwood-Van Wyck Boulevard Station:

Queens-bound (R) trains are terminating at the 57th Street-7th Avenue Station.

Queens-bound (E) and (F) trains are terminating at the Forest Hills-71st Avenue Station.

There is no service on (F) trains between the Jamaica-179th Street Station and the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike Station.

There is no service on (E) trains between the Jamaica Center-Parsons-Archer Station and the Kew Gardens-Union Turnpike Station.

Please expect delays in service on (E) , (F) and (R) trains at this time.

Two questions...

First, no service on the (F) from Jamaica Center and Kew Gardens??? You mean the (E), right?

But more importantly, the last two lines say no service between Jamaica and Kew Gardens, but the second one says the (E)(F) are terminating at Forest Hills. So what runs between Forest Hills and Kew Gardens?
