NYCtrainfan01 Posted May 22, 2011 Share #1 Posted May 22, 2011 I have the city bus simulator 2010 new york. when i first got it it worked fine no issues whatsoever. one day i wanted to play it and when i loaded up the simulator i can hear the sounds of the simulator but there's a black screen no images. the menu still appears fine but the black screen is there. i don't know what to do. my system specs are: windows 7 home premium 64-bit intel pentium processor E5500 1TB hard drive 6GB DDR3 memory DVD-super muti drive multi-in-one media card reader. i really want to use the simulator again but the black screen won't let me. if someone knows what to do here please tell me. 2 Train Master Posted May 22, 2011 Share #2 Posted May 22, 2011 I recommend OMSI Bus Simulator! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MoTavE_Dmy8&feature=related the game is as real as it get the physics are off the hook the buses are very accurate and there are already tens and tens of maps real and fictional available. But sorry about that issue. Rick44 Posted May 22, 2011 Share #4 Posted May 22, 2011 It does not have New York maps, or anything from the US at all. If you want it, for its graphical excellence, and it's realism and physics, you can order it from Aerosoft. http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd,,11882
2 Train Master Posted May 23, 2011 Share #5 Posted May 23, 2011 thanks for the recommendation! it looks just like the city bus new york sim. does it have new york maps and buses as well? where can i buy it? It has tens and tens of maps ranging from Europe to Canada but as stated nothing for the U.S yet. However there is a Map called Davisville which is a non-fictional map based on 4 routes run by the TTC.The routes are the 11,E11,S11 and 28 included with a fictional route 114. There are hundreds of mods already repaint buses, addon engines transmissions: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAkTLRGhYBo (something I recorded) and the community is growing!
