sovetskii52 Posted January 4, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2012 I combined a few pictures i found on a few sites, and put them together to create a video of pictures. It includes pictures of the abandoned, and demolished platforms at Atlantic Avenue on the Canarsie Line, and the Snediker Avenue El demolition. Enjoy. Note: I do not own any of these pictures. sovetskii52 Posted January 4, 2012 Author Share #3 Posted January 4, 2012 I am trying to post a picture here, but it's not working. RRR. Next time, use the IMG tags instead of the URL ones. Lance.
Interested Rider Posted January 4, 2012 Share #4 Posted January 4, 2012 Thanks for the picture as it bought back memories of my father taking my siblings and myself from East New York to S. Klein on the Square before the 14th Street - Fulton Street Line diasappeared in April 1956. I also remember that Lutheran Hospital was located on Junius Street and when my mother was there for her back treatments, my father took us on the Pitkin Avenue Elevated from Linwood Street to Atlantic Avenue and we walked the two blocks to the hospital.
