nostalgia Posted October 26, 2013 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2013 Can somebody give me the milepost from the ETT for the following MN Hudson Line locations: Yankees-153 Street Station Highbridge Maintenance Facility A very old ETT lists "BN" at MP 9.1, which is between University Heights and Marble Hill Stations. But's not a station or interlocking so what is the significance? The same old ETT lists a station at MP 34.6 as Croton North. This station is gone from today's timetable. Was this station once called Montrose? Thank you for your assistance.
gregorygrice Posted October 26, 2013 Share #2 Posted October 26, 2013 BN is a yard. The yard is used to unload/load the garbage train from GCT and the East Side Access Materials Train. Croton North is a station no longer in use. Montrose was a completely different station which is also not in use. Was replaced by Cortland Station. lirr42 Posted October 26, 2013 Share #3 Posted October 26, 2013 Yankees-E 153rd Street = MP 5.9 Highbridge = MP 6.7 Croton North is just north of Croton-Harmon, Montrose was a station that is north of present-day Cortlandt.
Truckie Posted October 26, 2013 Share #4 Posted October 26, 2013 Montrose was a completely different station which is also not in use. Was replaced by Cortland Station. Just to elaborate, Cortlandt replaced both Montrose to the north and Crugers to the south.
nostalgia Posted October 30, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted October 30, 2013 I don't want to start a new thread. What is the CP and its milepost just south of Pleasantville?
