The City of Paris is bit like Manhattan, it is small and dense but there are plenty of dense suburbs around it. The edge of the City of Paris are very central area by metropolitan standart. 1. Our walk begin at Danube metro station on line 7bis in the 19th arrondissement. The line 7bis is one of smallest and last used metro line in Paris, the smallest is line 3bis. There was a little restaurant near our hotel on Avenue du Maine in the 14th called Rafaello and one of the owners was from Laval, which is just north of Montreal. Small world, eh? A married couple from Montreal going across the pond for a honeymoon trip and they meet a guy from across the rivière des Prairies from them... KInda cool if you ask me.
