when i was a kid i remember some bus drivers(operators lol) used to add personal messages to destination signs like merry christmas, good morning, happy new year etc. can that still be done on the luminator destination signs. i would like to do something different like that when i work on holidays & early mornings

I'll get the exact codes for you when I dig them out. The only one's I have on hand are Brooklyn and Manhattan local. However I can give you any range, and you can find them. Holidays are in the 9000 range IIRC. Now I'm sure about (MTA) Bus equiptment, unless it ex-TA.

Ok I found them. I never actually went through them all because there are so many pages. The list I have is current as of 2007, and I see no special signs like that anymore. I also didn't notice that it has MTA Bus in the back, but there's none there either.

Just routes and shuttles, so if you want any from NYCT or MTA Bus let me know.
