Any info on my cool subway map and poster?

Thought you guys would get a kick out of these. 

My father worked for the transit authority for over 30 years and brought home some cool stuff over that time.  This map is my favorite:

I know it hung in Fort Hamilton Station and was produced in 1947.

 

A more recent cool find was this poster from the subway series in 2000:

I have only ever found one other copy of the map and I can't find any other copies of the poster despite much googling and ebay searches.  Anybody know any cool info on either of these posters?

The first one should have publisher information located somewhere on the map; try looking for it (it could also be on the other side).

Based on the design, it might be one of the Hagstrom maps. Based on the services presented on the map, I'll date it around 1950. The 3rd Ave elevated is still running to South Ferry (cut back 12/1950) while 179 St is  depicted as open (which also opened around the same time). However, the latter's inclusion may have been preemptive.
