So Lets Start Off With The Number Of LRVs On This Lines. And Judge It Based On How Crowded This Light Rail Might Be. Some Here's The Two Lines. Red Line: Runs From Park Street In Montclair To E 5th St In Plainfield. It looks like you have one going down Bloomfield Avenue, then joining the NLR for a few blocks, then branching off down Bergen Street, South Orange Avenue, Market Street, Broad Street, serves EWR & Jersey Gardens, then makes its way down the old CNJ line from Elizabeth to Cranford and parallels the Raritan Valley Line to Plainfield. The other one looks like it goes down Route 22 after serving EWR. In any case, I'd rather send the existing shuttle between Newark Penn & Newark Broad further down Broad to Newark Airport and replace the AirTrain (since from what I heard, it needs to be replaced soon anyway. Not sure why it wasn't designed for a longer timeframe but whatever) and continue down to Jersey Gardens, Elizabethport, and back to Midtown Elizabeth and eventually to Cranford (not sure if Plainfield is really necessary. I'd rather just boost service on the Raritan Valley Line and have people transfer to that) With those extra savings, you could run a line down Springfield Avenue from Newark Penn to the Irvington Bus Terminal.
