Some time needs to be dedicated to cleaning the Sixth Avenue, Eight Avenue, and QBL, and Seventh Avenue Subway Lines before people can go back to work. There hasn’t been a single part of NY being “clean” since the Dutch founded New Amsterdam. And even then it was a dirty swamp. So long as employers require employees to be in the office and commercial real estate doesn’t collapse, will survive - even if it’s dirty (it’s not like took time during essential service to stop stations from leaking water during rainstorms...). What will possibly collapse besides WeWork and the month-to-month commercial subletters? Uber & Lyft - especially if the unemployment rate stays high until next year.
