Bus operator

I have a Bus operator job offer on the line . Just took the conductor exam wondering if I were to get called for conductor during probation would I be able to call out and pursue that job offer as well. Or would I be stuck, I'm more interested in conductor but also don't want to let this opportunity pass by. Thanks in advance

You can take the bus operator position and work it until you are called for conductor. If you are on probation when you leave for conductor, then you won’t be able to return to bus operator. However if you go after probation, then you can return to bus operator within a year of going to conductor.
