via White Plains Road Posted January 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2009 MTA New York City Transit Service Alert Posted on:1/4/2009 7:09:43 AM Due to mechanical problems at the South Ferry Station, there is no train service in both directions between the Chambers Street Station and the South Ferry Station. Shuttle bus service is provided making station stops. Also, due to switch problems at the 36th Street Station, World Trade Center-bound trains are running local between the Forest Hills-71st Avenue Station and the Queens Plaza Station.
