How come Q11 has 2 different depots?

Most of the buses on the Q11 are JFK Depot, but i seen some of the RTS's and the Hybrid's are from Far Rockaway Depot. Is the Q11 really that special it gets 2 depots?

Q11 has always came out of two depots....I guess being that Howard Beach is the last stop some buses come out from Far Rockaway Depot....IIRC on the weekends the Q11 uses Far Rockaway Depot buses!

There are a few buses with 2 depots:

 

B20- Fresh Pond & East New York

Q32- Quill and Casey Stengel

B100- Spring Creek & Far Rockaway (it uses the latter on Sundays)

 

and there are more but I forget them. Add more

The B20 is no longer split.

 

However, some Bx12 runs during the summer do come out of Kingsbridge.

The Q11 is split between JFK (main depot) and Far Rockaway during the weekdays IIRC. It's always been split for a long time. I think during the weekends, it's ALL JFK.

IT isn't,I've seen JFK buses on the Q11 on weekends.

My mistake I meant that I have seen FR buses running weekend service on the Q11.
