jeffmorris Posted February 5, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 5, 2009 I got a book on RTS buses built by GMC, MCI/TMC, and NovaBus. When NYCTA started buying Orion V buses, I thought that NovaBus went out of business but I didn't know that NovaBus was still building buses for few more years and there was a version of RTS with wide front doors with wheelchair lifts in front instead of in back. I know that MCI/TMC Classic buses have wide front doors but I was not sure if they have wheelchair lifts. I didn't know that MCI/TMC Classic bus was a new version of GMC New Look bus with new flat front end and rectangular windows. I thought that RTS buses were best-looking buses with curved side windows, slanted and curved front ends, and slanted rear "windows" (for first few years).
