I was thinking it would be cool to get some folks together and go see the movie Earth at Newport mall, and do some railfanning of HBLR, PATH, and hoboken terminal. Part of the motivation for me to do this, is the theater is right near the HBLR and PATH, as well as disney planting 1 tree per ticket sold opening week. I prefer to see it opening day, because it's about the earth on earth day. The start time is 12:30. After the movie is over railfanning will commence. The cost is 8 bucks and you can buy it online or at the theater, however i suggest buying online if possible. Weather is supposed to be upper 50's and some clouds. I'll see what I'm up to that day. Yea, i think it was better as an abandoned rail yard, but what can ya do.
