Javier Posted June 23, 2016 Share #1 Posted June 23, 2016 I've been noticing that this has been a common occurrence for the past several weeks on the and . For some reason, and this only affects the R62A fleet, they seem to lose power entering Rector St and entering 14 St. This mainly happens when the train set is empty, and usually during a gap in service. At Rector St, the moment a comes into the station, the entire train set loses power, and the last car becomes completely disabled. Same thing with the , once it enters 14 St, the gap fillers will malfunction and the train set will lose power again. Does anyone know why this has been a common occurrence for the past few weeks now?
ttcsubwayfan Posted June 23, 2016 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2016 Your post is incredibly vague and gives an insufficient explanation as to the phenomenon you are witnessing. Why would you say the train loses power specifically when it's empty? Have you seen that this does not happen with fully loaded trains? How do you know there was a gap in service? When the last car gets disabled, what happens to the other cars? What happens afterwards? Does the railway get snarled up or does power come back on after a few moments? CenSin Posted June 23, 2016 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2016 You seem absolutely sure the train loses power… Maybe you can elaborate how you jump to that conclusion. What kind of image filters into your brain through your eyeballs before you interpret what you see?
