  1. i am sure you guys heard about the train wreck in Chicago. To my vision it seem that train got tired of being on the rail and decide to take the stairs. lol. I was thinking is it possible that the (7) train can be like this as well at Flushing Main Street?  Maybe the (S) at Grand Central as well?

  2. question on TRENTON TRANSIT center. I heard SEPTA may strike. I usually take NEC to Septa to Philly. I am sure it will be back in service when i needed. in case if they still on strike, what should i do? I refuse to take Amtrak for one lousy stop at high prices. What bus can i take? how much travel time i need? How ofter it run? .

  3. the b was a great service along the West End Line. i used to take that every friday to the city. After i moved, they said that the Mta wanted the B to be part time because it took over the T line which wasn't around when i grew up. it so dumb to use the letter B as part time. But that the mta way and it aint go ing your way.

  4. they really should build a crossover from the F to the D before Broadway Lafayette. I wish those dame Mta big people see this and spend a few thousand dollars to install it. If they can do it at 74 Street on 7 train, they can do it there. Don't forget they spent thousand of dollars in connecting both Lexington Ave platforms to the B D F M train.

  5. i have two separate topic questions to ask

1-- When this storm impact the subway, why is that some lines go local one way and normal the other way. IE (N) run local from atlantic ave to 59 street. meanwhile it express toward manhattan. any logical explanation to this?

2--I understand CBTC project is long ass job to complete inside the subway. Just wandering what is all the steps they need to do that causes this project to go so long.( i understand that the installers have short window on weekend)

Due to NYPD activity at 125 St, the following service changes are in effect:

a.png and d.png trains are local from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 145 St in both directions.

Northbound a.pngb.pngc.png and d.png trains are bypassing 125 St.

Expect delays in b.png and c.png train service in both directions.

    Allow additional travel time.

Northbound g.png trains are express from Church Av to 4 Av.

Northbound f.png trains are running with delays.

    Allow additional travel time

How you stop at 4th ave when it not an express stop? I guess the person didn't have coffee yet

  8. i notice this a lot lately and trying to figure out why they do this. During these kind of storm, why certain area where either northbound or southbound express train go local one way while in opposite direction of that spot it go express? Ie (D) train northbound run local from west 4 st to 34 street Herald sq. meanwhile southbound it express.

  9. MTA Opetrating Near Normal Service

The MTA Regional Transportation Network is operating near normal service this morning, as crews continue working to keep platforms, staircases clear of snow and ice and bus service on the road. Snow fighting equipment has been deployed to keep rails free of snow and to prevent ice buildup.

MTA Metro-North Railroad is operating a reduced schedule today, with several combined trains.

Customers should monitor Service Status on this page for the latest information.

Iesd laughing at this post . i wander if we should have a thread called"Mta No Proofread" or "Mta Typo"

Is this person who wrote the info on mta.infostill have no coffee yet?

This had to be one of the biggest embarrassing mistake ever. Did this person who came in still drunk or still hung overfrom Super Bowl party? or forgot to drink coffee to wake up?
