  1. For those still waiting like myself, not only is there a class starting Feb 14th, but there is one scheduled to start on the 28th of Feb as well. Arrived at 180 Livingston around 5:40am this morning for a 6:30am appointment for medical. After waiting for about 20 minutes were told that we were being bumped and rescheduled for another day, reason being the building was closed on Tuesday due to the snow storm. The people originally scheduled for Tuesday the 2nd were then rescheduled for today, since they are only allowed max 15 people for medical the people for Feb 2nd took precedence, those scheduled for today we were told to wait for an email to come back. Fortunately I received the email a few moments ago for a date next week. Good luck to all that still waiting...

Congrats man! I know your excited...

  4. Well, I feel very blessed to have made it this far. Based on my last comment I was seriously considering deferring for what could have been my last time. I took the chance and reported to 180 Livingston at 10am this morning. I was able to put the last 15 years of employment and to my surprise I was allow to take the urine test. I am hoping to get that work history from SSA, I don't' want them to think I purposely left some employment off. I would have been out in about 2 hours however I sat for 40 minutes before time stamping my paper. Praying I'm called for medical and have the opportunity to put the rest of my work history down once received from SSA 🙏

  5. I am so discussed with this whole pandemic situation, after patiently waiting for #7612, I unfortunately have to defer the process for what may be the 3rd time. I am in desperate need of my work history dating to when I left high school, unfortunately I don't remember back that far and have not kept decades worth of tax returns. I followed the procedure with SSA filed the form 7050 sent it off to the Baltimore office back in September 2020 with the understanding that it will take upto 120 days. Well suffice to say I am over the 120 day mark still no response from SSA, I even called once a week for the last month for an update.

To add, I called my local SSI office for assistance and they were unable to help. Also tried SSI offices in other boroughs still no luck. Now I have to report on 1/27 and possibly be told the same thing as on Sept 18, 2020 "No your unable to continue the process due to not having your full work history work on the application".  I know things could be worse, but let me tell you right now I am "livid". Well I will still report on the 27th and hope for the best, worse comes to worse I may still be able to restore my name to the list. "

My apologies for "throwing up in the forum".

CONGRATS to everyone (Including myself) who qualified early today, on our 7th day. This was a very tough, emotional week. For those who didnt pass and need additional practice, dont feel discouraged. Take a deep breath and USE THOSE REFERENCES when making those turns. Good luck ☺️

    Wow!! That's great, congratulations!!

i Just have a few more questions lol. Ive heard training is only TEN days? 10 days to learn to drive a bus?

If after the 10 days someone doesnt pass the driving test, their terminated? Or do We get another chance??

From what I've been reading on the forum, you only have that one chance during the 10 day training to pass. Also, I think there's a waiting period in order to be reconsidered for a B/O position. Maybe another forum member could clarify a bit more. Also, if you don't mind what's your list number? Remember to leave out the last 2 digits.

Congrats, glad your process is going well. Good luck in your training.

    Hello everyone

    pre employment last page for

“all agency outside activity approval request”

I don’t want to other work if i work mta, still do i need to fill out?

What I did was sign and date then left everything else blank.

  14. @ Moody thanks man,

I have the 10 years work history with no problem however, I don't want it to appear like I purposely omitted information and get rejected. I'm figuring that I'll submit the 10 year work history for now since it not the pre-employment process per say. It look like it just to see ho's still interested or not am I correct? Will we fill out the same paperwork for the pre-employment process?

  15. Anyone have any suggestion about responding to the the canvass letter for this exam. I also received an email and unfortunately I work be able to sent it back before the deadline due to not having all the information on  about my work history.  I did however sent for the non certified work history which dates back to 1988. The worse part is my local SSI office told me that they would not be able to send my work history and that I would have to send my request to the Baltimore office, not telling how long that will take. I did however call the the MTA NYCT Operations Office and was told that I could submit the canvas letter when I can. I'm kinda skeptical about that so I will definitely follow up.  Any other suggestions?

I would try reaching out to the following people:

-Ms. Patricia A. Lodge, the Vice President of Human Resources (her contact information is below)

-Ms. Emma Marie Rivera, the Manager of Employment Operations (click here for her information)

If neither of these ladies respond, I would try contacting the Office of the President, which is located out of 2 Broadway, at 646-252-5800 and see what happens.

    Good luck!!

Yes I agree, out of all the people I tried contacting Emma Marie Rivera was the only on to respond. She was very helpful. Also as @Young suggested, the President's office will see to it that your information gets to the right dept or personnel.

Hi. You have to call your local office. I called the wrong one and they told me to call the one that is closest to my home. And “overnight” isn’t exactly overnight. You can mail your form with payment and “overnight” it to the local office. It will take maybe 2 days to get to them. They have to process it and mail back to you. Earliest it may get to you, from what the person at my local ssa office told me, may be about 10 days.
The fee is $91. You will get earnings history and each company you worked for. They only give year or month and year if I recall correctly.
There is another option that is cheaper but that literally only gives you the earnings per year with no company information. Make sure you order the $91 one. Good luck

I called my local SSI office and was told that I would  have to send my request for work history to the Baltimore office. May I ask which office you used to get the expedited service? Thanks In Advance.
