  1. I hope the r32's will stick around for a year or so when these trains come into service.
  2. yeah, i understand that but sometimes the is useless
  3. how about extending to New lots avenue at all times the becomes a shuttle operating between 148th street and 135th street
  4. or maybe it's because the stations aren't heavily used
  5. Free transfers between Junius street or Pennsylvania Avenue and Livonia Avenue ?
  6. So it's gonna be just like how the is but in this case it's r62a's not r142's
  7. Does this testing mean that there will be r188's in service on the other IRT lines except the in case of fleet shortage and what not?
  8. I think the mta should have payed more attention towards the retirement of the r32's and r42's and bringing the r179 into revenue service instead of purchasing/converting r188/r142a's. Plus, the r62a's has 20+ years left while the r32's and r42's has about a year or so. At this time, i don't think the r188's are necessary.
  9. Why are people quick to assume that the is getting the r62A's. What if the MTA thinks that the workers can manage switching the rollsigns and still be on time if they were placed on the or ?
  10. Why is everyone assuming that the r62A's are going on the Lexington Avenue line and/or/maybe the 7th avenue line. What if the MTA decides to do something else with them. Who knows
  11. I took a ride on a r62a today and after that experience i wouldn't have a problem with the r62a being on the and . I am a daily rider of both lines. Even though the r62a's has less space than the r142a and sounds more heavier, it would be fair if the and get another taste of the r62As
  12. So basically, the mta is downgrading most of the and lines from new technology to old technology trains that are half way there to their deaths. Makes sense and this is one of the smartest plans the mta has ever made.
