  1. Yeah it is logical for the MTA to use new buses for SBS, but I just don't believe the C40s getting those multicolor signs is for nothing.
  2. From what I've observed, I'm assuming that the operating fleet for the Bx6 SBS will be the C40s since they're getting those new destination signs and all, however I think it would be better to have artics on the route. I doubt the current 110 XN60 order can suffice so I have to assume that there's a piece for the Bx6 SBS in the option order.
  3. Finally rode 4029 on the Q50. Not a bad ride at all, but I'll miss those RTS's though.
  4. 4371, 4363 & 4336 never left WF after being sent out as AM and PM supplements so the reason you're seeing them is because they're apart of the bus pool, available for anyone to take them out on any route. They'll probably return home by the end of the day, either for good or for refueling/recharging for another week at WF.
  5. That's odd. The Bx39 is 100% 40-footers right now and the ones that I've seen are completely packed.
  6. C40's are generally quiet buses but am I the only one who notices that CP's C40s are louder than usual, especially when compared to WF?
  7. I honestly wish more people took the Q50 during off-peak hours. Those 30-minute intervals are horrible.
  8. I saw an Orion V in WF's lot today. Didn't get the number and also, 5009 is on the Bx6
  9. Quick question: What is that 'screech' sound at 0:05 and pretty much from 0:12 to 0:25 and what causes it? I've noticed that these sounds are particularly made by the 2011-13 C40lfs
  10. One mind-boggling question: Why do some conductors, if not all stick their fingers out before they open the doors at the station?
  11. Why do all (6X) trains slow down before and after Cypress Avenue? and I've also noticed that the normal slows down after Hunts Point(southbound) and before(northbound), so what's up with that?
  12. I should have stayed on the . Broadway Local is pretty fast and short
